This policy forms part of our Terms of Use. Breach of this policy is a breach of the Terms and may lead to suspension or termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.
1. Lawful use only
You must use the Platform and any information obtained through it only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including data protection, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, consumer, and intellectual property laws.
2. Prohibited uses of the Service
You must not:
- use the Service to harass, stalk, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person, or to make decisions about individuals in ways prohibited by law;
- use personal data contained in delivered records (e.g. officer names and addresses) for unlawful direct marketing, profiling, or any purpose incompatible with data protection law — you are the controller of your own onward use;
- misrepresent Deliverables as official certified documents, alter them and present them as authentic, or use them to deceive any person or authority;
- resell, sublicense, republish, or systematically redistribute Deliverables or Platform content, or use them to build or train a competing product, database, or dataset;
- place orders using false identity or payment details, or engage in fraudulent chargebacks.
3. Prohibited technical conduct
You must not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download Platform content, or access the Service by automated means except through interfaces we expressly provide;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform, bypass authentication or usage limits, or access accounts or data belonging to others;
- introduce malware, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Platform (including denial-of-service attacks);
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform except where permitted by law;
- share account credentials or allow third parties to use your account.
4. Prohibited content
You must not upload or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, malicious (e.g. malware), or that contains third-party confidential information or personal data you have no right to provide. See the User Content and Uploaded Data Notice.
5. Fair use and volume limits
We may apply reasonable rate and volume limits to protect the Service. Attempting to circumvent limits (including by creating multiple accounts) is prohibited.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate access, cancel orders, and cooperate with law enforcement. Where practicable we will notify you, unless notification is prohibited or would compromise an investigation.
